Why do containers need to be stamped with steel wire seals?
A container wire seal is a device similar to a lock pin, which is used by a specific person after the cargo is loaded into the container and the door is properly closed. Container steel wire seals can be divided into customs seals, commercial inspection wire seals and commercial seals according to different types of use. Once the container is properly locked by the seal, it cannot be opened unless it is severely damaged, and the damaged container wire seal cannot be used from scratch. Why do containers need to be stamped with steel wire seals?

Each container has a specific number on the wire seal. As long as the appearance of the container is intact, the door is closed, and the steel wire seal is normally locked, it can be proved that the container has not been opened without permission during transportation. The packager should supervise the condition of the container during the packaging process. Customs seals shall not be opened at will and shall bear certain responsibilities. The general customs will stamp the steel wire seal in the following two cases:
1. customs need to open the box for inspection. Customs inspection means that customs officers open the steel wire seal of the container or remove all the goods in the container for inspection. In order to prevent the owner of the goods from believing that it was illegally inspected by others, they need to affix the customs seal and notify the owner of the goods to prove that this is the normal customs inspection process.
2. need to record the customs seal number on the customs inspection record. For later customs management, it is usually necessary to record the customs seal number after the inspection, because the goods imported from the port customs need to be declared inland, and the declaration needs to use the customs seal number as proof.
The steel wire seal is used to wrap the lock body and the lock head to form a corrosion-resistant and high-hardness sealing product. The laser code engraving on the steel wire seal is much better than the thermal code engraving. The thermal code engraving cannot guarantee the clarity of the digital segment after engraving, and the corresponding barcode cannot be engraved. This is the disadvantage of thermal code engraving. The laser engraved code on the steel wire seal can not only clearly mark the digital segment, but also carve the bar code, raising the anti-counterfeiting work to a new level.
The reason why the steel wire seal has become a special seal product for containers is not only that its one-time sealing is safe and reliable, but also that the laser engraving on the seal adds a layer of protection for safety. At the same time, the steel wire seal also has an "anti-rotation" function, which cannot be rotated and pulled out at high speed after being locked. Moreover, the product has a spring locking strip. After the product is locked, the metal head effect of the clamping spring and the rod can be embedded into the groove of the metal head.
From the above introduction, it can be seen that in the process of using steel wire seals, on the one hand, we need to pay attention to the sealing performance of the product, on the other hand, we also need to pay attention to the security check work, especially for containers that need to pass through the customs.
