Sealing function and problems of padlock seal
(1) The container padlock seal is also a lock on the container and is a high-security seal. The goods in the container are generally more expensive, so if the high-security seal is found to be damaged due to various special reasons after leaving the factory, the cargo transport driver should immediately notify the factory, and the factory will arrange the relevant personnel in charge to the designated place to pry open the container and carefully check the goods. Observe whether there are missing boxes or surplus items, and ask the freight driver the reason for the damage. Take some clear photos and keep them. The sealing factory should prepare the high-security seal by itself, and the freight forwarder should provide the new high-security seal number and notify the change of the shipping record, replace the new high-security seal, and inform the customer.
(2) In the factory, if the container seal cannot be opened or damaged, or the lock is replaced, it should be reported to the freight forwarder immediately. When the container is loaded into the container, seal it with the high-security seal made by the factory and take a few clear photos to save it. Please leave the freight forwarder in the factory when the container is delivered to the site. The freight forwarder will take photos and provide them to Dai Shi lock seal company to check whether the seal numbers of the prepared high-security seal and the new high-security seal are consistent.
(3) After the container enters the port of transport, it is necessary to carefully check whether the packing list information retained by the company is consistent with the entry information. If any discrepancy is found, the forwarder shall be notified immediately and the cause shall be ascertained.
Note: After the container is sealed, it needs to be removed with bolt cutters. This seal is disposable and once the seal is opened it cannot be opened unless it is destroyed and removed.
